Blog 3: My dream job

 

I am currently studying dentistry at the University of Chile, the truth is that I love the degree, it is a degree that has many areas to investigate, such as the research area, the clinic, teaching, among others. 

  

In order to be a good professional in the future, we must develop many skills that are being taught to us throughout the degree, for example in the practical area where a LOT of patience is needed to achieve good skills, we also need to have theoretical knowledge (there are many ) and one of the most important things according to me is the communication skills where we have to be willing to answer the questions that patients can ask us because in this way we can help people take care of their oral health and in this way they can Help your family follow in your footsteps. 

Realistically, what I want most now is to finish my degree jajaj, but in a more distant future I would love to work in all the clinical options that a dentist has (whether in a private or public area), and one of my dreams is to work in a remote area from the city (rural) since everything is quieter and you can also learn a lot by seeing other customs and meeting people from different parts of Chile.

Regarding salary issues, which is clearly important, the truth is that I feel that if we complement the work in the public and private areas, it is not an issue that has to worry too much.
